Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC) du and Etisalat by e& have collaborated with Nakheel, a leading Dubai real estate developer, to improve Dubai's fixed telecom services and ICT infrastructure.

This partnership is part of the Taawun infrastructure deployment initiative and will focus on setting up important telecommunications infrastructure in Nakheel's major projects.

"We look forward to delivering state-of-the-art telecom services for Nakheel's projects. This agreement solidifies our commitment to enhancing the digital experience for Nakheel and its valued customers," Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du, was quoted as saying by WAM.

"By offering an array of services tailored to bring convenience and empowerment to residents, communities, and the entire nation, we aim to be an essential catalyst in driving the UAE's economic, social, and digital transformation," he added.

Abdulla Al Mana, General Manager, etisalat by e&, said the company is focused on advancing societies and driving innovation through industry-leading telecom solutions.

Al Mana emphasized that this partnership represents a collaboration of expertise, resources and unparalleled commitment to enhancing the UAE's telecom sector, noting that Etisalat "will continue to deliver the best-in-class services, driving digital transformation, improving lives and empowering societies across our operating markets."

Nakheel, a member of Dubai Holding and a leading real estate developer in Dubai, played a key role in making Dubai a top destination for living, working, and visiting with its innovative projects.

The developer has transformed land and water into vibrant, sustainable developments that support Dubai's vision. Through this new partnership, du and Etisalat will improve telecom services for various destinations and facilities, benefiting Dubai's citizens, residents, and tourists.

Khalid Al Malik, Managing Director of Dubai Holding, stated that they aim to enhance the lifestyle of residents and visitors by providing world-class developments and amenities. He added that the partnership with du and Etisalat strengthens their commitment to offering excellent services, helping communities connect and engage easily and effectively.

In June, du and DIFC Innovation Hub announced a partnership agreement to launch the "du Business Entrepreneurship Program" to support entrepreneurs and start-ups with innovative initiatives to enhance the UAE's business ecosystem.

The program will guide SMEs through digital transformation, covering strategic planning, technology adoption, and organizational change management to help them achieve sustainable growth in a fast-changing business world.
