Nominations Open For 9th Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award, Promoting Arab Cultural Heritage

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award, organized by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library (MBRL) under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, opened nominations for its 9th edition.

Submissions must be completed by the given deadline, with only one entry allowed per cycle. The submission deadline is March 14, 2025.

Registration forms should be filled out online, and submissions must be made through the official award website. The organizing committee can withdraw or disqualify any entry that doesn't meet the requirements.

The Award Board of Trustees can also revoke an award if any terms, intellectual property rights, or other serious rules are violated. Members of the judging panels and the Award Board of Trustees are not allowed to participate in the award in any way.

Bilal Al Budoor, Secretary General of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award, said, "The Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award embodies Dubai and the UAE's commitment to supporting the Arabic language in line with our wise leadership's vision, making it a cornerstone of cultural and intellectual development in the Arab world," WAM reported.

He said the success of previous editions, especially the 8th, has boosted the award's global recognition. He also pointed out that the 8th edition achieved significant progress in empowering the Arabic language, promoting it creatively worldwide, and advancing digital and educational tools.

The upcoming 9th edition - launched under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai - is expected to introduce more innovations and initiatives to further elevate the status of the Arabic language.

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award received entries from across the globe in its previous editions, encouraging innovation and creativity to support the Arabic language. It recognizes individuals and organizations from different continents, highlighting its status as an internationally acclaimed platform for excellence.

The award focuses on developing modern approaches to enhance the Arabic language, keeping pace with technological advancements. Backed by Dubai's visionary leadership, it emphasizes the role of Arabic as a language of science and knowledge, contributing to progress in various contemporary fields.
