Automechanika Dubai, which is Middle East and Africa's largest international trade exhibition for the automotive aftermarket industry, is all set to witness more than 1,800 exhibitors from over 60 nations.
The event will be held from Oct. 2 to Oct. 4 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), where more than 60 countries will showcase a wide range of innovative products, services, and technologies in front of a worldwide audience.
Portfolio Director at Automechanika Dubai organisers Messe Frankfurt Middle East, Mahmut Gazi Bilikozen, said that Automechanika Dubai has firmly established itself over the past two decades, noting that it is the premier networking hub for the Middle East's automotive aftermarket community.
"This year, we will have a keen focus on the EV sector, where, in the UAE for example, demand for EVs is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of 30 percent between 2022 and 2028, according to the global electric mobility readiness index published last year," he added, WAM reported.
He continued, "Twenty years in the making, Automechanika Dubai 2023 will deliver unrivaled business opportunities to exhibitors and visitors alike, acting as a catalyst for new collaborations, partnerships, and market expansion within the Middle East and beyond."
This year will mark the 20th edition of Automechanika Dubai, which has been built on the record-breaking success of the 2022 exhibition. Last year, 1,145 exhibitors and 42,937 visitors from 145 countries attended the exhibition.
The upcoming event will consist of several new event features to allow attendees to interact with each other in order to exchange knowledge and identify new business opportunities.
The opening day of the event will allow the delegates to explore emerging trends in the fields of climate-neutral, connected, and autonomous mobility as part of Innovation4Mobility.
The event, which is supported by associate sponsor HELLA, will also feature expert speakers who will share their insights into sustainability-related issues such as EV charging infrastructure, battery recycling, and green investment opportunities.
On the second day of the event, the Lubricants Technology Conference, sponsored by Chempol, will discuss digitalization, cold blending technologies, and the prevention of corrosion in EV drivetrains.
Furthermore, there will be Automechanika Dubai Awards to recognize excellence from across the MENA region, AfriConnections, Automechanika Academy, Modern Workshop, and the PitStop Challenge.
The 20th edition of Automechanika Dubai will also feature eight specialized product sections including parts and components, electronics and systems, accessories and customizing, tires and batteries, car wash and care, oils and lubricants, diagnostics and repair, and body and paint.
