Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is all set to return this year in December with its 30th edition, offering an exciting lineup of entertainment, thrilling events, and A-list concerts for 38 days straight.

The shopping extravaganza will take place from Dec. 6, 2024, to Jan. 12, 2025, and offer a wide range of spectacular activities and adventures, showcasing Dubai as a vibrant and extraordinary destination during this festive time.

This year's DSF celebrates 30 years of welcoming visitors from around the world to experience the very best that Dubai has to offer. Launched in 1996 as one of the first citywide shopping festivals in the world, this event showcases how Dubai's visionary leadership helped transform the emirate into a global destination.

DSF has helped transform Dubai into a vibrant, internationally recognized metropolis. It has evolved from a shopping festival into a citywide celebration that highlights everything remarkable about Dubai.

Visitors can enjoy top-notch entertainment, unique attractions, great food, rich cultural experiences, and beautiful landscapes, all while enjoying the city's perfect seasonal weather, WAM reported.

Residents and visitors should save the dates for major live concerts featuring top international stars, the return of the popular 321 Festival and popular outdoor events like Market Outside The Box (MOTB) and Canteen X.

In addition, there will be big shopping deals from over 1,000 brands, festive activities, memorable New Year's Eve celebrations, and thrilling adventures at theme parks, outdoor spots, and beaches. During the festival, Dubai will be lit up with stunning light displays, fireworks, and captivating drone shows.

The announcement of DSF came just one day after the much-awaited fourth edition of the Dubai Metro Music Festival dates were revealed, starting from Sept. 21 to 27. The seven-day event will transform five metro stations -- The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, BurJuman, Union, and DMCC -- into vibrant hubs of music from various cultures around the world.

The event, which aligns with the 15th anniversary of the Dubai Metro, stands out as a major highlight on the city's events calendar. Al Mulla emphasized that the festival reflects the Roads and Transport Authority's (RTA) dedication to enhancing the satisfaction and happiness of both residents and visitors in Dubai.
