Sharjah Media City (Shams) launched the "Influencers Room" program on the sidelines of the 13th International Government Communication Forum to help influencers grow and enter the social media job market through six weeks of training workshops.

The Influencers Room program will be an open platform for young talents and creatives from different social media platforms, supporting the growth of businesses in this field. It aims to help content creators turn their ideas into successful ventures by providing the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed and become more professional.

"It is a new project aimed at supporting talents and is designed to empower influencers and content creators by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary for success in the world of influencer marketing," Rashid Abdullah Al-Obad, Director of Sharjah Media City (Shams), was quoted as saying by WAM.

"The Influencers Room program is one of Shams' pioneering initiatives in developing the media sector," he said, adding, "This program is specifically tailored for individuals, offering them a unique opportunity for growth and professionalism in their fields."

Al-Obad highlighted Shams' dedication to ongoing support and collaboration, focusing on a media strategy that empowers both institutions and individuals.

The goal is to promote excellence and create meaningful media content, aligning with Sharjah's vision of developing advanced and innovative approaches to entrepreneurship in the creative industries, he said.

The program offers workshops and interactive sessions that cover the basics of influencer marketing, content creation, working with brands, engaging audiences, social media strategies and personal branding.

These sessions will feature inspiring talks by industry experts, global platforms, digital marketing specialists, and successful influencers who will also share their personal journeys, experiences, and useful advice.

The program will highlight challenges, success stories, and tips for standing out in the competitive influencer field. Attendees will also have the chance to network with peers, industry professionals, and potential partners, with special meetings designed to encourage collaboration within the community of new influencers and content creators.

In the first week, the program starts with an introduction to digital marketing and the industry, the basics of influencer marketing, content creation, understanding audience behavior, setting goals, and an overview of the Meta platform.

The second week includes workshops on media influence, engaging with followers and brands, an introduction to artificial intelligence, and a session on TikTok led by a specialized influencer.

In the third week, participants will attend a workshop on media speaking and interacting with audiences, plus an introduction to Dolby. The fourth week features workshops on photography and photo editing, as well as using digital tools for storytelling.

The fifth week includes a media relations workshop, a session on creating digital content from concept to production, and an introduction to the YouTube platform. In the sixth and final week, there will be a workshop on using artificial intelligence in podcasting.
