ADNEC Group Gears Up For Dynamic 2nd Quarter With Global Events, Strategic Collaborations

ADNEC Group is building on a strong start to 2025, having welcomed thousands of visitors - including ministers, key decision-makers, and Heads of State - to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi in Q1.
The second quarter features a packed calendar of major events across sectors like finance, government, sports, energy, technology, healthcare, education, and entertainment, reinforcing Abu Dhabi's position as a global hub for innovation and collaboration, WAM reported.
The year kicked off with the Ataya Exhibition and Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, which included the Zayed Sustainability Prize and the World Future Energy Summit (WFES). Nearly 42,000 global leaders and innovators attended WFES to discuss renewable energy and climate action, further cementing its role as a leading platform for sustainable progress.
ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi continues to host a wide range of successful and diverse events in 2025, reinforcing its reputation as a leading global venue.
April brings a packed calendar, as from April 7–9, major events include the Gulf & Indian Ocean Hotel Investors' Summit (GIOHIS), Annual Investment Meeting Congress, and the World Local Production Forum.
The World Crisis & Emergency Management Summit runs April 8–9, focusing on global preparedness. From April 10–11, the Wound Healing Congress 2025 will unite experts in wound care. On April 11–12, the A2RL Drone Racing Competition will showcase AI-powered drone races.
Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week runs from April 15–17, followed by the Education Interface from April 17–18. Entertainment fans can attend the Middle East Film & Comic Con from April 18–20.
Later in April, the Electric Vehicle Innovation Summit will be held from April 21–23, and the 33rd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair from April 25 to May 5. The IFATCA conference runs April 28–May 2, and the Progress in Electromagnetics Research Symposium takes place May 4–8.
In May, ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi will debut the Make It In the Emirates Forum, focusing on industrial innovation and investment, supporting the UAE's push for economic diversification.
Other major events include the World Utilities Congress, which will explore the future of global energy, and IntraLogisteX, connecting logistics providers with industry professionals. To close out the first half of 2025, Abu Dhabi Summer Sports (ADSS) will return from June 8 to August 21.
As the region's largest indoor sports event, it promotes fitness and family-friendly activities during the summer months. These events play a vital role in boosting Abu Dhabi's economy, supporting sectors like tourism, hospitality, and logistics, while helping local businesses access global markets.
