The Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2025 wrapped up its 35th edition with impressive results, generating approximately half a billion dirhams in sales and marking a 25% increase compared to 2024. The festival delivered a significant boost to Sharjah's retail sector and overall economic activity, further solidifying the emirate's reputation as a leading destination for shopping, entertainment, and cultural experiences.

Lasting 38 days, the festival offered residents and visitors a unique shopping experience at malls, commercial centers, and entertainment venues across Sharjah. It featured substantial discounts, special promotions, and over 12 diverse entertainment and cultural events, WAM reported.

The festival included a wide range of family-friendly activities, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere throughout Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr. Organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), it attracted top retailers, small business owners, entrepreneurs, and productive families, contributing to the festival's dynamic nature.

Shoppers enjoyed discounts of up to 75% on a variety of products from both local and international brands. The festival also drew large crowds to Sharjah's prominent shopping centers, reinforcing the emirate's reputation as a key destination for shopping, entertainment, and tourism.

Visitor numbers surged during the first and second days of Eid Al-Fitr, driven by strong interest in retail deals, entertainment, and prize draws. Furthermore, top tourist spots, hotels, and attractions offered special deals and promotional packages, further boosting the festival's economic impact.

Festival attendees actively took part in raffle draws held at various pavilions, winning valuable prizes, giveaways, and shopping vouchers provided by the Sharjah Chamber in partnership with participating shopping centers.

Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, stated that the Sharjah Ramadan Festival is one of the most important economic initiatives launched by the Sharjah Chamber over 30 years ago.

Held from February 22 to March 31, the festival attracted a wide array of visitors, who enjoyed exclusive promotions, shopping vouchers, and exciting giveaways.

Jamal Saeed Bouzanjal, Director of Corporate Communication at SCCI and General Coordinator of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival, highlighted that the festival is not just an economic event but also an important part of Ramadan in Sharjah.

It brings people together through various activities that engage all age groups, promoting social connections and community bonding. The festival also helps preserve and promote the UAE's cultural heritage by showcasing its traditions, customs, and values, creating an immersive experience that reflects the spirit of Ramadan.
