Ducab Group, a leading UAE manufacturing company, has partnered with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) to provide advanced cable solutions for large residential projects in Dubai.

The partnership strengthens Ducab's role as a trusted provider of sustainable infrastructure, aligning with the UAE's goals for eco-friendly living and future-ready communities, WAM reported.

Ducab Cables Business CEO Charles Mellagui emphasized that the partnership with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment showcases Ducab's dedication to supporting strong infrastructure that helps the UAE achieve its sustainable development goals.

He said that by supplying reliable energy solutions, Ducab is contributing to a greener, more secure future. This project also supports the country's decarbonization and net-zero goals, helping to create future-ready communities in line with the UAE's development plans.

Ducab will supply a range of cables, including low-voltage power cables, flexible cables, and fire-resistant Flam BICC2 cables, for the construction and maintenance of 432 residential units in Wadi Alamardi and 398 units in Al Awir.

These high-quality cables are designed for safety and durability, ensuring reliable power distribution and excellent fire protection, setting a new standard for environmentally conscious living in Dubai.

This collaboration builds on Ducab's successful history of powering major housing and infrastructure projects across the UAE, such as the South Shamkha development, where Ducab supplied essential cabling for 43 neighborhoods across 39 square kilometers.

This initiative supports the UAE's larger goals, including the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the UAE Net Zero Strategy 2050. Ducab plays a key role in helping the country meet its environmental and decarbonization targets, leading efforts in sustainable infrastructure projects and industrial development.

Last year, the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) and the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their partnership and promote tax awareness.

The agreement includes plans to organize joint events that will provide updates on tax laws and procedures. It will also focus on assisting UAE nationals with VAT refunds for taxes paid on building new homes.

Furthermore, FTA launched a new smart app called "Maskan" on Tuesday as part of its ongoing efforts to modernize tax services in line with government priorities.
