The UAE is attending the 55th World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, from Jan. 20 to 24, led by Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed Al Maktoum. The delegation includes over 100 leaders from the government and business.

The country remains active in this key global event, focusing on economic and developmental collaboration. The UAE's participation in Davos 2025 reflects President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's vision to enhance the country's role in global cooperation and sustainable development, WAM reported.

It also follows Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's focus on boosting the economy and global competitiveness. The UAE's involvement in the Forum, themed "Collaboration for the Intelligent Age," aligns with discussions on sustainable growth and using technology for global progress.

Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi said that the UAE's strong presence at the World Economic Forum (Davos 2025) reflects the vision of President Al Nahyan and the guidance of Vice President Rashid Al Maktoum.

He emphasized that the UAE is committed to actively participating in global platforms to strengthen international partnerships and support national development goals, while contributing to worldwide sustainable development.

Al Gergawi also highlighted the UAE's focus on the economic sector, which is key to achieving the country's national strategies and goals. He added that governments and institutions working towards global stability and prosperity prioritize international cooperation, especially in the economic sector.

The UAE plays a crucial role in advancing sustainable development for nations and communities worldwide. He stressed that the UAE continues to strengthen international cooperation with countries, governments, global organizations, and private companies through its participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

This involvement aims to promote sustainable development by sharing successful national experiences, building strong partnerships, and using global expertise.

Davos serves as a platform for building international partnerships, sharing successful experiences, and promoting development. Key themes for the UAE include economic growth, foreign trade, renewable energy, and leadership in sectors like healthcare, digitalization, and AI.

For the third year in a row, the UAE has a pavilion under the theme "Nothing is Impossible," which showcases the nation's heritage and key priorities. The pavilion will host high-level meetings, public sessions, and media engagements, offering opportunities to share knowledge, build partnerships, and support the UAE's ongoing modernization and development.
