The National CSR Fund -- MAJRA, introduced the MAJRA Impact Stream, a new digital platform designed to help private sector contributions focus on innovative CSR projects that align with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals and national priorities.

The launch announcement was made during a press conference, which also witnessed the launch of the MAJRA Sustainable Impact platform, which offers various services to support and guide the efforts and contributions of the private sector towards impactful CSR initiatives, WAM reported.

During the conference, MAJRA announced partnerships with Dubai University, Umm Al Quwain University, and MBRSG, aiming to provide a variety of knowledge resources for the Knowledge Square platform, including studies, articles, training programs, and workshops.

The initiative also allows training hours to count toward the development credits of private sector employees, supporting CSR practices and promoting sustainable impact.

Abdullah Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Vice Chairman of MAJRA's Board of Trustees, highlighted that the launch of the MAJRA Impact Stream represents a significant step in promoting CSR principles and ESG practices.

He said its role is to encourage businesses to adopt innovative solutions that contribute to society, the environment, and the economy while fostering sustainability and collaboration with the private sector.

MAJRA Director Sarah Shaw explained that the MAJRA Impact Stream aims to improve transparency, accountability, and trust in CSR and ESG efforts across sectors. The initiative seeks to unify these efforts and maximize their impact.

Through the MAJRA Community, the platform also provides a space for individuals and organizations to share experiences, ideas, and knowledge to drive positive change.

The MAJRA Impact Stream is a digital platform built on four key principles: Listen, Unify, Magnify and Certify. It plays a central role in MAJRA's strategy to enhance corporate social responsibility (CSR) frameworks, strengthening the UAE's position as a global leader in CSR.

By offering a unified space for knowledge sharing, impact measurement and inclusivity, MAJRA aims to drive positive social impact and support the private sector's contributions to sustainable development in the UAE.

The launch came just one day after the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) was officially inaugurated.
