UAE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has approved the 2025-2029 strategic plan for Dubai Courts. The plan aims to boost innovation in the judicial system and strengthen Dubai's global standing.

Sheikh Maktoum said that the initiative aligns with UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision to make Dubai a model for advanced and efficient justice, further enhancing its appeal as the best place to live, WAM reported.

Sheikh Maktoum stated that the plan aims to create an innovative judicial system that adapts to global changes and future needs, ensuring swift justice and upholding the rule of law. The plan focuses on smoother litigation, efficient court rulings, and alternative dispute resolution, reinforcing Dubai's leadership in the legal sector.

It envisions a transparent and fair legal system that strengthens global confidence in Dubai, promoting justice, integrity, and progress. Dubai Courts' strategic plan focuses on strengthening trust in the judiciary and ensuring justice for a stable society.

It includes 3 strategic impact indicators, 27 performance indicators, and 42 initiatives.

The plan has four main goals: improving judicial performance, enhancing services, developing future-ready institutions, and advancing digital justice. Judicial performance focuses on better case handling, faster decisions, and efficient legal processes.

Enhanced services aim to improve customer experience and promote dispute resolution. Future-ready institutions prioritize skilled talent, innovation, and strong governance. The digital justice system uses AI and technology to improve efficiency and data management.

Dubai Courts Director-General Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi emphasized the need for Dubai Courts to stay ahead in judicial advancements amid rapid global changes. He highlighted the importance of adapting to legislative and technological shifts to develop sustainable legal solutions.

Dubai Courts spent a year crafting a strategic plan focused on integrating global advancements to improve judicial efficiency. The plan incorporates AI and modern technologies to enhance legal processes and service delivery.

Al Suwaidi stressed that improving the judicial system is an ongoing process. The goal is to create an innovative, high-quality legal environment that ensures swift justice, protects rights, and strengthens Dubai's position as a global leader in judicial efficiency.
