Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) and Oracle announced on Wednesday the launch of sAIdaty 2025, the second edition of a training program aimed at empowering women professionals and entrepreneurs in Dubai and the UAE with artificial intelligence (AI) skills.

The inaugural edition equipped participants with foundational AI skills, enabling them to explore the application of AI in their businesses and work environments. Building on the success of the first edition, which trained and upskilled 500 women in the UAE, sAIdaty 2025 focuses on advanced AI applications, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation, WAM reported.

The first cohort of "sAIdaty" participants gained valuable insights into the fundamentals of cloud computing, AI, and generative AI technologies through training sessions and workshops led by Oracle and industry experts. The inaugural edition also focused on leadership development, promoting confidence, and strategic thinking among women professionals and entrepreneurs.

Nick Redshaw, senior vice president of Tech Cloud for the Middle East and Africa, and UAE Country Leader at Oracle, shared that sAIdaty received a positive response from women entrepreneurs and professionals in the UAE.

"...During the one-year duration of the programme, participants gained a strong understanding of AI and how they can leverage this incredible technology across their area of work. We intend to build on this momentum and in 2025, extend the programme to new participants across the UAE in collaboration with Dubai Business Women Council," Redshaw added.

The "sAIdaty" initiative underscores the shared dedication of DBWC and Oracle to inclusivity and skill enhancement, contributing significantly to the UAE's vision of becoming a global leader in AI."

Nadin Halabi, Head of Business Development and Operations at the Dubai Business Women Council, shared that their mission is to empower businesswomen and create meaningful partnerships that increase their impact.

She emphasized that their efforts go beyond providing knowledge, focusing on creating initiatives that help women lead, innovate, and succeed in the fast-changing world.

Halabi highlighted the success of the first sAIdaty program, which trained 500 women in AI skills, as an example of effective collaboration. She also stated that working with Oracle has enabled them to offer programs that unlock potential, drive progress, and inspire change.

As sAIdaty 2025 is launched, she reiterated their commitment to building a strong, future-ready community of businesswomen that supports the UAE's vision of global leadership in AI and digital transformation.
