Arabian Travel Market 2025: Dubai Municipality Showcases Innovative Tourism Projects

Dubai Municipality is taking part in the 32nd Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, one of the world's biggest travel and tourism events, being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 28 to May 1.
At the exhibition, Dubai Municipality will highlight its best practices and showcase its new and innovative tourism projects. The aim is to strengthen Dubai's reputation as a leading global destination for tourism, entertainment, and future-forward experiences.
One of the main attractions at their booth will be the AED 2 billion Therme Dubai project, the first of its kind in the Middle East and the tallest in the world. Dubai Municipality will also share detailed insights into several of its world-class tourism initiatives, WAM reported.
"The Arabian Travel Market is an exceptional annual event in the tourism and travel sector," Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, said.
"Dubai Municipality is participating in this event to showcase its future vision for tourism, which is based on developing pioneering strategic practices and projects that are in line with the concepts of sustainability and innovation, providing advanced levels of quality of life and well-being," he added.
According to Anwahi, the new projects aim to strengthen Dubai's position as a top global tourist destination while promoting its cultural and tourism identity.
He explained that Dubai Municipality focuses on creating innovative, smart, and sustainable tourism experiences by developing parks and recreational facilities that blend Emirati heritage with modern tourism concepts, enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors.
Therme Dubai will improve community well-being with a spa and interactive garden, supporting Dubai's goal to rank among the top 10 cities for quality of life by 2033. Dubai Municipality is also unveiling projects to upgrade public beaches, enhancing their design, infrastructure, and appeal for both residents and tourists.
Dubai also showcases new recreational and sports projects, including a 9.7-kilometer mountain walking trail and the Mushrif Hub at Mushrif National Park.
It will also highlight the 86-kilometer Hatta Mountain Bike Trail, offering cycling and walking tracks for tourists and adventure seekers. To boost the appeal of historical areas, the Municipality is developing Deira Souq through the 1,740-meter Heritage and Tourist Trails Project.
Upgrades include women's prayer areas, smart bathrooms, seating spaces, and architecture that preserves the souq's traditional charm.
