Dubai Land Department's AI Platform Boosts Real Estate Ad Transparency

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has shared the results of its new AI-powered system for monitoring real estate ads. Since its launch, the AI system has reviewed over 279,000 real estate listings, with 29% of them being automatically corrected to ensure accuracy and compliance.
The system, introduced at GITEX 2024, aims to enhance the transparency and trustworthiness of property listings on platforms such as Property Finder, Dubizzle, and Bayut. This initiative aligns with the objectives of Dubai AI Week, running from April 21 to 25.
"These results reaffirm our ongoing commitment to advancing real estate market oversight through cutting-edge technology," Ali Abdullah Al Ali, Director of the Real Estate Control Department at the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, DLD, was quoted as saying by WAM.
"The Real Estate Advertising Governance Platform enables us to monitor advertisements more accurately and efficiently, enhancing investor and consumer confidence and reinforcing Dubai's position as a global hub for real estate innovation," he added.
The DLD emphasized that the AI platform continuously monitors real estate ads every day to ensure they follow regulations and maintain transparency. This effort reinforces the department's goal of creating a reliable property market.
Using AI for oversight aligns with DLD's focus on digital innovation and improving service quality. The platform is a major step forward in boosting Dubai's real estate sector. It supports the leadership's vision of making Dubai a leading global city in digital innovation, strengthening its economy, and achieving long-term growth goals.
Scan to Verify: QR Codes Combat Fake Real Estate Ads in Dubai
Earlier, DLD's Real Estate Regulatory Agency introduced a new digital service called "Madmoun" as part of its Trakheesi system. This service generates a unique QR code for every approved real estate ad, helping improve oversight and modernize regulations to boost investor trust.
Now, all property firms must include this QR code in their ads, whether online or in print. Customers can scan the code to instantly check if the ad is legitimate and officially approved by the agency.
Last week, IPS 2025 brought together real estate leaders and experts worldwide to discuss the challenges and opportunities in shaping the future of urban infrastructure.
Majid Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector at DLD and Chairman of the IPS Organizing Committee, shared that Dubai's real estate market is progressing well toward the goals of the Real Estate Sector Strategy 2033, which was launched in October 2024.
