Dubai Chambers signed an agreement with the China Construction Bank (CCB) – DIFC Branch to boost investment and help Chinese companies expand in the emirate.

The signing of the MoU highlighted China's growing role in the global economy and marked the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the UAE and China. The agreement aims to boost trade cooperation and make Dubai an even more attractive place for Chinese investments.

The agreement is focused on sharing knowledge and expertise between the two parties to better support businesses and investors. Furthermore, it will also help strengthen cooperation between Dubai and China, create new opportunities for growth in various sectors, and reinforce Dubai's status as a top global business hub.

Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers Hassan Al Hashemi and General Manager of China Construction Bank – DIFC Branch Wei Luo signed the agreement at Dubai Chambers' headquarters on Sunday, WAM reported.

The MoU will create new opportunities for cooperation, benefiting business communities in both Dubai and China and strengthening trade and investment partnerships between Chinese companies and Dubai businesses.

The MoU signing took place ahead of the upcoming Dubai Business Forum – China, organized by Dubai Chambers. The forum, themed 'China, Dubai and Beyond: Igniting Global Trade and Investment,' will be held in Beijing this Wednesday (Aug. 21).

The event aims to attract promising Chinese companies to Dubai and help them take advantage of growth opportunities in the region and globally.

Earlier this year, officials from the United Arab Emirates and China met in Abu Dhabi to discuss how both countries can strengthen cooperation and share expertise in different media sectors.

Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office (NMO) and Chairman of the UAE Media Council at that time expressed his intention to enhance media coordination and cooperation between the UAE and China, highlighting their growing relationship.

In May, the third UAE China Tyre & Auto Parts Expo was held at Expo Centre Sharjah, where exhibitors took advantage of the growing automotive aftermarket and service industry in the country and the entire region.

This expo, which provided a platform for the regional market to access the Chinese tire and auto parts industries, was organized by Inter Commerce Expo Corporation in association with Shandong Port Overseas Supply Chain (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. and Hualun Inter Tech FZCO.
