Emaar Announces Collaboration With Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival

Multinational real estate development company Emaar on Thursday announced its collaboration with the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF), which will be a two-day event held this Saturday and Sunday.

The event will be organized by the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa).

Considering the partnership between Emaar and SEF, the partnership includes sponsoring the "Startup Town," which is one of the five dedicated zones at the festival where discussions of local and global experts will take place.

Emaar will also sponsor the Tech Track for the anticipated SEF Pitch Competition, which will provide a platform for new business owners to display their products and services. Furthermore, the company will host the workshop halls at the event.

Chief Executive Officer of Sheraa Najla Al Midfa praised Emaar's contribution towards promoting entrepreneurship, noting that the company is an example of how the private sector's support can power the greater entrepreneurial ecosystem in a country.

Al Midfa expressed his joy over Emaar's partnership in the upcoming event, noting that this festival is the Middle East's largest entrepreneurship festival and with the help of such profound and enduring commitments events like this festival thrive.

The upcoming event will mark the seventh annual Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival, held at the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) under the theme of "Our Shared Canvas." Over 200 speakers are lined up from 15 different countries.

Following this festival, Sharjah will also witness the 8th edition of the Xposure International Photography Festival from Feb. 28 to March 5.
