Mohamed Alahbabi, Senior Advisor and Space Lead at EDGE Group, joined global leaders in the field to talk about strategic innovation, smart manufacturing, and the importance of international partnerships in strengthening the UAE's defense capabilities.

"The UAE continues to invest heavily in these sectors. The growth trajectory will continue with more satellites entering orbit, new companies being established, and greater investments in human capital," Alahbabi was quoted as saying by WAM.

"Space is fundamental to the advancement of science, innovation, and defense. We take pride in the UAE's unparalleled achievements in these industries," he added.

Salem Humaid Al Marri, Director General of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), celebrated the achievements of the UAE National Space Program, marking the fifth anniversary of Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi's first space mission.

Al Marri emphasized the country's dedication to becoming a global leader in space exploration, saying, "Through space exploration, we are realizing the vision of the UAE, contributing to national development and creating high-tech jobs."

As Saudi Arabia's aviation sector remains a key focus for the region's growth, Ali Rajab, Executive Vice President of GACA and a board member of the Saudi Air Connectivity Program, shared vital updates about Saudi air connectivity and how it helps the country achieve its strategic goals.

The panel discussion titled "Offering Insights into the Future of the Saudi Arabian Aviation Sector" included leaders like Osamah Alnuasier, SVP of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Riyadh Air, and Grainne van den Berg, Head of Airline Marketing for the Middle East and North Africa at Airbus.

They discussed ambitious plans for the future of aviation in Saudi Arabia. In a special on-stage interview, Antonoaldo Neves, Group CEO of Etihad Airways, emphasized the airline's role in shaping Abu Dhabi's aviation industry.

He also discussed Etihad's strategy to expand its network, increase passenger numbers and develop talent, especially among Emiratis.
