Sharaf Group Contributes AED 5 Million To Mothers' Endowment Campaign
Sharaf Group announced Sunday that it will support the Mothers' Endowment campaign by donating AED 5 million. The campaign was launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to honor mothers by forming an AED 1 billion endowment fund to help educate millions of people across the world.
The Sharaf Group's involvement is a key aspect of a community-driven effort aimed at promoting sustainable charity initiatives that resonate with Islamic principles and human compassion.
Funds raised from the campaign, in collaboration with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), will help education projects in partnership with humanitarian organizations.
These projects aim to support millions of underprivileged individuals with the necessary tools and skills for living an independent life.
Yasser Sharaf, Vice President of Sharaf Group, said, "The Mothers' Endowment campaign reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for sustainable giving, and the UAE's established approach of extending aid to those in need and alleviating suffering across underprivileged communities," WAM reported.
"We are honored to be part of this campaign launched in honor of mothers, and to continue working with MBRGI to support their charity programs around the world in line with the Group's commitment to social responsibility and to supporting UAE's humanitarian initiatives," he added.
This campaign emphasizes the importance of honoring parents, kindness, compassion, and unity. It also showcases the United Arab Emirates' prominent humanitarian role by creating a lasting endowment that supports education and empowerment initiatives.
The Mothers' Endowment campaign allows everyone to donate and make contributions through various channels, including its website (Mothersfund.ae) and a toll-free call center (800 9999). Donations can also be made via bank transfers to the campaign's Emirates Islamic Bank account (AE790340003708472909201).
