Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2025 Kicks Off, Showcasing Innovation, Global Collaboration

The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2025 kicked off on Friday, bringing together innovators and entrepreneurs for an exciting two-day event focused on creativity and collaboration.

Sara Abdelaziz Al Nuaimi, CEO of Sheraa - a launch pad for aspiring entrepreneurs in the United Arab Emirates - shared her thoughts on the SEF 2025 preparations, emphasizing that the event is more than just a festival for Sheraa.

She highlighted the leadership of Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Sheraa's Chairperson, and the belief in the power of entrepreneurs to turn challenges into opportunities.

This year's festival is expected to bring together a strong group of thinkers and innovators, demonstrating that when communities grow, innovation has no limits. Sharjah continues to focus on supporting entrepreneurs, helping them dream big and make a meaningful impact globally, WAM reported.

The festival will feature 10 themed zones and five stages, hosting over 300 speakers from 45 countries. It will also include 150 startup booths and 320 investor meetings, providing opportunities for networking and business growth.

Visitors can take part in more than 250 activities, including 45 workshops and masterclasses. The event will also showcase 7 major performances by well-known artists. Under the theme "Where We Belong," SEF 2025 aims to highlight the power of community and the role of innovation in shaping the future.

More than 12,000 entrepreneurs and business enthusiasts are expected to attend the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2025, making it a hub for innovation and ideas. The event will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, industry experts, and changemakers from around the world to share knowledge and opportunities.

The festival, organized by Sheraa, is the largest entrepreneurship event in the region. It will be held at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTIP) on Feb. 1-2, 2025.

The Investor Lounge at SEF 2025 will host over 320 one-on-one meetings for founders and startups to connect with potential investors. The Startup Pitch Competition, in collaboration with 1Tank and 1Trepreneur, offers an AED 200,000 prize pool and the chance for further investment of up to AED 500,000.

SEF is known as the region's largest celebration of entrepreneurship and community. This year, the SEF Souq will feature local and regional artisans, while SEF Eats will offer culinary experiences with popular F&B brands.

The festival will also include performances from Music Travel Love, Hamza Namira, and Sons of Yusuf.

SEF 2025 introduces specialized zones, including the Impact Zone, powered by Arada, which will host keynotes and discussions, and the Made in Sharjah Zone, powered by Shurooq, the Bank of Sharjah, and the Sharjah Business Women's Council, highlighting local talent and innovation.
