Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, met with U.S. President Donald Trump during a White House dinner banquet held in his honor, attended by senior U.S. officials.

During the meeting, Sheikh Tahnoon conveyed greetings from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and wished Trump as well as the American people continued progress and prosperity.

He also thanked Trump for the warm welcome and hospitality, highlighting the strong relationship between the UAE and the United States.

Sheikh Tahnoon and Trump discussed ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between the UAE and the U.S. and explored opportunities for further collaboration, WAM reported.

Sheikh Tahnoon emphasized the UAE's commitment to boosting economic ties with the U.S. by expanding partnerships and increasing investments in key sectors such as AI, technology, infrastructure, and healthcare.

He also praised Trump's leadership and economic policies for attracting foreign investment and supporting strong economic partnerships. As part of his U.S. visit, Sheikh Tahnoon also met with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to discuss economic and financial cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance it.

During their discussions, Sheikh Tahnoon highlighted the UAE-U.S. cooperation in finance and business, underscoring the many opportunities available in both nations, particularly in advanced technology and AI, which could further bolster their partnership.

Sheikh Tahnoon also met with U.S. National Security Adviser Michael Waltz to discuss ways to improve bilateral relations and address key issues of mutual interest. Their talks centered on enhancing regional and global security, addressing shared challenges, and identifying growth opportunities, particularly in technology, AI, energy, and joint investments.

In addition, Sheikh Tahnoon engaged with international business leaders to discuss potential partnerships with the UAE. Their conversations focused on how AI can support sustainable growth, global innovation, digital infrastructure, and industrial cooperation.

He highlighted how advanced technology is bringing major changes worldwide, reshaping economies through new ideas and creativity.

As part of his official visit to the U.S., he will also meet with senior U.S. officials and business leaders to strengthen strategic, economic, and technological ties between the two countries. He is accompanied by a delegation of officials from both the public and private sectors.
