Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week 2025 To Shine Spotlight On Innovation, Global Collaboration

Abu Dhabi has revealed it will host the Global Healthcare Week 2025 at ADNEC from April 15 to 17, to support knowledge sharing and build partnerships that help improve healthcare worldwide, with a focus on shaping the future of health and wellbeing.
The event is expected to bring together over 15,000 visitors, 1,900 delegates, and 200 speakers from 90 countries, WAM reported.
The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi shared that the event will highlight new innovations and advanced technologies in areas like pharmaceutical research and health tech. These tools aim to help with the early and accurate detection of diseases.
Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Under-Secretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, said the event will include a special innovation zone where startups can showcase their technologies to potential investors and healthcare organizations.
These connections could help them raise funds or integrate their solutions into real-world patient care. She added that artificial intelligence will be a key focus, with both local and international partners presenting AI tools to improve healthcare services.
The event will also highlight new technologies in areas like preventive screenings, smart diagnostics, and treatments designed to make healthcare faster, more accurate, and more affordable.
Al Ghaithi emphasized the department's dedication to supporting innovation that creates a smarter, more effective healthcare system for both the region and the world. The goal is to improve patient outcomes and raise the standard of care globally.
With the theme "Towards Longevity: Redefining Health and Well-being," the event will shine a spotlight on personalized medicine and long-term health solutions. It also aims to improve individual health and support broader societal progress by aligning global healthcare efforts.
On April 16, a special panel of international health experts will explore the importance of working together to tackle global health issues. A startup zone will give new companies access to tools, guidance, and networking opportunities to help turn their ideas into real healthcare solutions.
Winners of the Smart Health Hackathon, held from April 4 to 7, will be revealed during the event. Innovation Award recipients will also be announced and awarded $200,000 for creating impactful solutions to major healthcare challenges.
