Saudi Media Company (SMC) has taken a major step toward boosting innovation in the media and advertising space by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Multiply Group PJSC, an investment firm based in Abu Dhabi.

The goal of this partnership was to explore ways they can work together and invest in building advanced advertising technology platforms.

Through this agreement, both companies plan to work jointly on developing new advertising tech powered by artificial intelligence, improving their digital tools, and expanding into fast-growing markets across the MENA region, WAM reported.

"This partnership marks a strategic and transformative step in strengthening SMC's position as a global leader in media, advertising, and technology," Chairman of SMC Mohammad Al-khereiji said.

"The region is witnessing unprecedented investment and innovation, and through this collaboration with Multiply Group, we are committed to delivering pioneering AI-driven advertising solutions powered by the latest AI technologies."

Multiply Group's managing director and group CEO, Samia Bouazza, said the partnership with SMC was a strategic move that combined technology, data, and cultural insight.

Under her leadership, Multiply Group has built strong consumer connections across various sectors and now aims to expand that knowledge across the MENA region using advanced advertising technology platforms.

The focus is on exploring new ways to generate revenue from media through data-driven and tech-enabled solutions that reflect regional audience behavior. This partnership marks a key step toward building a more advanced and data-centric digital advertising landscape.

With the integration of artificial intelligence and programmatic technologies, both companies are set to transform the industry, introduce innovative business models, and drive long-term, sustainable growth in the global media and advertising market.

A major part of this collaboration involves building advanced advertising technology platforms. This includes programmatic advertising and data-driven ad sales, which help make advertising more efficient and targeted.

The partnership also aims to boost digital advertising across the MENA region and expand into global markets with strong potential. The company plans to use the latest digital tools to offer smarter and more effective advertising solutions.

The partnership is also aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which highlights digital innovation as a key part of the country's economic and industrial growth.
