Sharjah To Ring In 2025 With Spectacular 25-Minute Fireworks At 3 Iconic Locations

The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is set to welcome 2025 with a grand 25-minute fireworks display across three major locations: Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Heera Beach, and Khorfakkan Beach.

The New Year celebration will take place on Dec. 31, starting at 8:00 PM, and promises an exciting and vibrant atmosphere for all ages. The highlight of the event will be stunning fireworks displays at each destination, WAM reported.

Al Majaz Waterfront will host a five-minute show, while Al Heera Beach and Khorfakkan Beach will feature breathtaking ten-minute displays each. Along with the fireworks, all three locations will offer a mix of entertainment and activities, creating a magical experience for visitors.

At Al Majaz Waterfront, located by the scenic Khalid Lagoon, visitors can enjoy live saxophone and violin performances throughout the evening. The shows will take place at intervals, set against Sharjah's beautiful skyline. The venue also offers 20 local and international dining options, catering to a variety of tastes.

Al Heera Beach, stretching 3.5 km along the coast, will host synchronized LED, fire, and saxophone performances at its three waterfront areas. Visitors can also enjoy a festive beachfront atmosphere with 17 dining outlets serving a mix of regional and global cuisines.

At Khorfakkan Beach, a popular family destination on the eastern coast, guests will be treated to laser shows, EL wire performances, and roller LED characters. The 3 km stretch also features 21 dining options, offering everything from local dishes to international flavors, ensuring a joyful and memorable experience for everyone.

Furthermore, Al Noor Island will host A Magical New Year's Eve by the Bay, featuring a fine dining experience along its peaceful shoreline overlooking Khalid Lagoon. Guests can enjoy exclusive views of the Al Majaz Waterfront fireworks, take a self-guided tour of the island, and participate in a skywatch session (weather permitting), offering a magical start to 2025.

For added festive fun, Al Montazah Parks is hosting its Winter Land Festival, running until Jan. 5. Families can explore a winter wonderland with attractions like igloos, ice castles, and snow slides, creating a joyful seasonal experience.

In partnership with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, the New Year's celebration program is designed to bring families, friends, and tourists together to enjoy Sharjah's iconic locations.
