Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council and ETHER by Cloud Spaces together launched six new brands created by Emirati female entrepreneurs to empower women in the retail industry, both in the UAE and abroad.

Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council is a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI). The partnership between ETHER and the council began one year ago. Since then, they have successfully launched 18 local brands in three stages.

This partnership has provided Emirati women entrepreneurs a chance to enter the retail market by displaying their unique products at the ETHER store in Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi. With this, these entrepreneurs are reaching more customers and establishing their presence across the UAE.

Nema F. Al Aghbari, Marketing & Membership Manager at the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, said that the launch of the third round of Abu Dhabi-based female-owned startups highlights the council's commitment to the growth of women in the business sector.

"We're very proud of the work they've done thus far, these entrepreneurs are entering innovative and sustainable fields, contributing fresh perspectives to the market. Notably, our partnership with ETHER by Cloud Spaces has been vital in providing them with the tools and guidance needed to excel," Al Aghbari was quoted as saying by WAM.

"The new brands unveiled at the ETHER shop are a testament to the endless creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit of our female entrepreneurs in Abu Dhabi. We're delighted to not only celebrate the launch of the six brands, but also celebrate the diverse talents and passions of their female founders," Al Aghbari added.

Malak Smejkalova, Senior Director of Innovation at ETHER by Cloud Spaces, said the new brands launched at the ETHER store show the creativity and determination of female entrepreneurs in Abu Dhabi.

Praising these women's hard work and dedication, Smejkalova said that ETHER is excited to welcome visitors to see the new collections, which include handmade candles, fabrics, and plant-based, sustainable beauty products.

Earlier this week, Abu Dhabi's global tech hub Hub71 welcomed 21 new startups in Cohort 15, bringing the total number of its supported ventures to 243.
